Question:
I've been thinking about trying Yoga. Does anyone know if this is too hard on
FMers?
Answer:
I took yoga for about four years and loved it. I believe that it was what
kept the FM under control for the first three years. I then moved into a
gentle/therapeutic yoga class which was great! Three of us had
fibromyalgia and the instructor worked with us so we didn't do more harm
than good. Although I don't take yoga classes currently (finances) I found
it to be very helpful. And I continue to use a lot of what I learned to
manage stress.
