maybe info at these links will be of some interest since I'm
not sure any of us take the same combo of meds nor get the same
results...and not allare even listed here. Maybe print out the opoid
links for your ignorant family (though it probably won't change their
attitudes-screw 'em) and keep copies should another ER visit ever be
necessary to wad up, ask them to say AHhhhh and shove down their
throat!! Feel better.

2 Guaifenesin as a treatment for fibromyalgia:
A 1 year double-blind, placebo-controlled study

Conclusion: Guaifenesin is ineffective in the treatment of
fibromyalgia
when evaluated in a rigorous placebo controlled study. Previously
untested improvements are more likely related to cognitive
restructuring. Furthermore this study failed to find the biochemical
changes that have been linked to the "guaifenesin hypothesis".
