Question:
what was your first signs of Fibromyalgia?
Answer:
Apparently I had CFIDS for a couple or so years before the FM developed
according to the doctorss based on my symptoms. (Would grow tired
regardless of how much sleep I received, had low grade fevers,
alleriges slowly worsening, IBS, noticed myself "spacing" at times,
[brain fog], and getting colds/sinus alot easier.) At first I
attributed this to me having Mono and going undiagnosed for 7-8 months.
But the symptoms just didn't go away.
I guess the very first symptom I would attribute to the FM was my
allergies worsened suddenly within a period of 3 months than they had
been previously. During (and a little before) that time I noticed that
whenever I wrote, paint, or sketched as part of my college assignments
(Art major) my hands would start cramping and aching -far- too soon than
normal as would my elbow and shoulders. Got occasional strong aches in
certain areas that would then "disappear" only to come back again
without any pattern. Noticed I would be doing what I'm normally
accustomed to and then realize I'd be physically worn sooner than I
should be. I also noticed I was starting to get cold rather easily.
And...my temperature had a new normal at 96.4 F.
3 months after my allergies took a bad turn the tendons and muscles in
my hands and wrists started becoming more "pronounced/apparent" and
showed swelling. The pain started then traveling gradually and after
three more months various other symptoms started developing.
