Question:
I've currently got my own 136 visa application in - and am going for my
medicals soon.
Fingers crossed that I get the visa ... what would be the chance of
getting an (aged) parent with multiple sclerosis into Australia on a
temporary or permanent parent visa? Would it just be an outright no?
Answer:
You should get some professional advice from an agent who specialises in
health issues. Try Peter Bollard in Sydney:

But you do need to know that standard health requirements apply for
parent migration visas - no health waiver - so be prepared to be told an
"outright no".
