Too much magnesium will compete with calcium. and phosphorous
I have hypoparathyroidism. It mimics fibromyalgia.
If magnesium is taken in too high of a dose you can get tetany from too low
a phosphorous
I was also a lab tech until 5 years ago. hubby still is sucker
