Lyrica

Question:
I am currently taking 80mg twice a day of Oxycontin. My doc wants me to take Lyrica in conjuction with it. Everything I read about Lyrica does not seems in indicate it for pain. If I do notice an inprovement, he will start decreasing the ooxycontin. Is anyone taking Lyrica and what are the results?

Answer:
I've been on Lyrica for my fibromyalgia for a month, and I consider it to be my miracle drug.

It doesn't do a whole lot for the pain, but I can definitely say that the 'brain fog' is gone, I have LOTS more energy, and I'm sleeping better than I have in more years than I can remember.

The only side effect I have is an increased appetite.

It's definitely worth a try for anyone who suffers from this illness!
