Has anyone been diagnosed with having lupus *and* fibro?
they are both pretty similar......
Also, any chinese herbalist remedies for the fibro?
Answer:
I received a diagnosis of discoid lupus when I was told I have FM. My
mother suffers from systemic lupus which is different. Discoid lupus
is lupus of only one organ...the skin. I have photosensitivity, rashes
in a butterfly pattern across my cheeks/nose and lesions on my skin.
My sister also has discoid lupus and many of the syptoms of FM. All
three of us are going to the same rhuemetologist as she wants to track
the diseases in a family grouping. At this time I am not receiving
treatment for the lupus symptoms with medication. I am just avoiding
sun exposure as much as possible.
