Question:
Were any of you ever been misdiagnosed
with fibromyalgia? I was diagnosed with
fibromyalgia in 1996, yet my rheumato-
gist kept writing my gp that there was something going on that he
couldn't explain, but he never told me that.
Answer:
fibromyalgia but my whole left side was effected,
and my balance was off. I know that I had many
of the symptoms that my MS patients had. I had
blurred vision on the left side too. MY symptoms
started after having a dental bridge that through
my jaw out of allignment. After two years I went
to a head, neck and facial pain dentist and he
removed the bridge and my symptoms went away. I
have since interviewed 200 fibro people. Most
people's jaw is a problems, they have had a
fall, a whiplast, teeth missing at the back and
it has thrown the cranial vault off. This disc
gets displaced in the jaw and the head can not
balance properly and the person holds their head
forward. Go to www.tmjstck.com and link to Dr
Greenspan and Dr Shanklands site and tell me what
you think.
