Question:
has anyone here found that successful cpap use improved the symptoms of
their fibromyalgia?
considering that some of the research claims that the deprivation of deep
sleep causes fms...should I be optimistic????
Answer:
I sleep with a CPAP every night. I do at least sleep, where
as I used to just lay in bed a lot and quit breathing. Your
question involve the "chicken or the egg" theory. Does FMS
cause sleep deprivation or does sleep deprivation cause FMS?
Although I do sleep better with the CPAP, my symptoms
have never changed for the better as a result.
