Question:
My wife is a massage therapist here in Sweden and she have had quite
many Fibromyalgia patients and they seems to become much better from
her massage. They just love her.........
I am curious to know if this is a common treatment or if it is the
treatment of my wife who make those persons to feel that way. She is
Asian and her tecnique seems to differ from other therapists here in
Sweden as her patients not have had any cure before.
Is massage an common cure or treatment for this kind of problems ?
or is it the way my wife does it ?
Answer:
I know that ordinary massage is not recommended as treatment for
Fibromyalgia here in Norway. Most patients have little luck with it. But
some use something called deep tissue massage with luck (hope the
translation was about correct, in Norwegian it is "Bindevevsmassasje").
