I have this condition, and all I know at this time is scary stuff,
and I need to learn more!!! Please !My doctors have told me I have Fibromyalgia.
The name itself is enough to scare me, and know I am the condition I had only
heard about a few times in my life. My old doctors felt that they had the pain
under control for me...when basically asprin is what I have had...
Davacetes are the strongest thing they have given me and I am no longer
in the mood to live with this pain day after day !
My days are normally very long, emotionally I at times do not know which way I
am coming from, and the other times I am in to much pain to know anything....I
am trying to find some people that have a serve or cronic condition such as
mine, could you please write to me regarding your experiences on what it is,
and what I should be taking and doing for myself to not feel so bad by the end
of the day

Get tested for lyme, many people w/lyme are diagnosed with fibro. Many people
including mds feel this is a fictitous disease for mds when they really can't
find the cause. I got this label as well 2 years after fighting lyme
infection, symptoms were exactly the same. I am presently seeing mds that are
lyme literate and getting antibiotics to address lyme. Arthritis foundation has
info on fibro as well as your local bookstore. Also check with walk in pain
centers with chiropractors and phys therapist. Good luck to you! By the way
most mds treat fibro with elavil, a tricyclic antidepressant which helps
control chronic pain transmittors.
