Is there a diet for FM ?

Question:
On the news at noon here in milwaukee there was a segment on a diet for FM. It consisted of juiceing fruit etc to make it more digestabel and not so taxing on the system and elimenateing some foods but did not say which. Anybody hear of this?

Answer:
I think the diet you're talking about is on another thread right now. Tee Hee The thread's called BCTVNews - FM. Carone posted it yesterday. I'll re-post the site here.

My personal feeling on diets for FMS is that different people benefit from different diets -- none of us is exactly the same. Dr. Neil Barnard's Foods That Fight Pain diet helped me determine what my own food sensitivities are, and I stay away from those foods. But other than that, my doctor has me on a diet which includes things from ALL FOUR food groups, a healthy, balanced diet designed to help me get the most Food Nutrients I can -- PARTICULARLY protein, which she feels is lacking in many people with FM.
