Question:
if you have a sleep disorder, are you likely to have fibromyalgia, too... and
is the sleep apnea secondary to the Fibromyalgia? Is it worthwhile to get
checked for it?
Answer:
No. however, if you have fibromyalgia (fm) you most likely will have sleep
problems. The two primary indicators of fibromyalgia are tender points at
specific locations on the body -- bilateral, and debilitating fatigue. If you
don't have the tender points -- then its' unlikely you have fm.
