Question:
Does anyone have info on good docs who treat fibromyalgia in Melbourne?
Answer:
Physiatrists - some specialize in treating FMS
(PM&R - Physical Med & Rehab)
Florida link - scroll down you'll see 6 in Melbourne, FL

Arthritis Chapters - map

May be able to direct you to a good rheumatologist. Most have support
groups you could attend and talk with other FMers to find out what
doctors they see and if they're satisfied w/their care.
Co-Cure Good Doctor List

None showing in Melbourne. Are you near any of these other cities? You
could call any of these offices and ask for a referral in or closer to
Melbourne for a doctor who specializes in/devotes a sufficient amount of
his/her practice to FMS.
Pain Clinics
http://www.pain.com/painclinics/
They have changed their site so click what looks interesting. At the
Pain Clinic link a map appears. I clicked Florida and many facilities
showed up. These are listed as being in Melbourne:
BREVARD REHABILITATION MEDICINE
Address
101 E. FLORIDA AVENUE
MELBOURNE 32901
FLORIDA PAIN & TRAUMA CLINIC
Address
129 WEST HIBUISCUS BLVD
SUITE C
MELBOURNE 32901
BREVARD PAIN MANAGEMENT CLINIC
Address
21 SUNTREE PLACE
MELBOURNE 32940
Give them (or others listed near you) a call to learn what they treat.
I think it usually takes a referral from your 'regular' doctor to be
seen at a pain clinic, but it can't hurt to try to self-refer.
